Join us for a hands-on and interactive conference where we will dive deep into the world of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RtI). This two-day event is designed for educators, administrators, and support staff looking to enhance their understanding and implementation of MTSS and RtI in their schools and districts. Through engaging workshops, guided discussions, and collaboration sessions, participants will leave with a personalized MTSS framework tailored to their specific needs and practical strategies for successful implementation.
Day 1: Laying the Foundation
During the first day, we will establish a strong foundation for understanding and implementing MTSS. Through interactive sessions, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the core principles and team roles within MTSS. Guiding questions and team structures will be explored to help participants construct or review their own framework. Data-based decision-making will also be a focus, as we dive into screening processes, setting tiered cut-points for interventions, and effectively monitoring student progress to move them through the tiers.

Day 2: Application and Execution
The second day will focus on practical application and execution of MTSS in schools and districts. Participants will engage in resource mapping and explore a variety of academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions across different tiers. Through real-world case studies and interactive discussions, participants will learn best practices for moving students between tiers and ensuring intervention fidelity. A panel featuring representatives from successful Region 13 districts will share their insights and experiences with MTSS implementation.

Action Planning
The conference will conclude with a session on action planning. Participants will have the opportunity to outline specific next steps for implementation and identify ongoing support options to ensure fidelity and sustainability in their schools and districts.

Learning Objectives:
1. Develop a personalized MTSS framework tailored to their schools and districts.
2. Understand the core principles and team roles within MTSS and how to effectively collaborate.
