The 2-day, face-to-face meeting with Region 13's Special Education Directors and TEA will allow for local education agencies' special education leaders to focus on state and regional priorities. This meeting will provide current legal updates and pertinent SPED information for leaders to support the implementation of special education programs in their local education agencies. A variety of topics will be addressed at each meeting based on the unique needs of the network, legal and/or legislative updates, and communications from the Texas Education Agency.
