Inventory Management and Tracking

 

This training will provide child nutrition professionals with a better understanding of inventory management and the importance of keeping accurate inventory records. It will demonstrate how effective inventory control begins with menu planning and recipe development. It will introduce the tools needed to implement good inventory management and ensure traceability.


This class will be delivered in two segments as follows:

  • 9:00 - 11:00 AM
  • 12:30 - 2:30 PM

Participants may register for the following one-hour classes to fill the gaps and maximize learning:

  • 8:00-9:00 AM - Enhancing Meal Appeal
  • 2:30-3:30 PM - The Conversation Code

  • 2520 - Receiving & Storage Safety
