	Join us for a dynamic and transformative workshop that will equip instructors with essential tools to support the writing and mental wellness of youth. Through our unique approach of combining writing strategies and mental health techniques, this program will provide hidden writing practice opportunities for students while also promoting their emotional well-being. Our creative writing journey will give participants a deeper understanding of themselves, build resiliency, and foster meaningful connections with others.

This workshop is designed for adults who work with students from 3rd grade and up, including teachers, counselors, and youth program facilitators. It can also be adapted for professional development purposes.

During this in-person workshop, participiants will receive an Activity Guide includes over 25 hours of creative writing activities that can be tailored to suit different learning environments. Participants will learn the importance of journaling, metaphorical writing, poetry, and imagination prompts for enhancing emotional intelligence and promoting wellness in youth who may be struggling with issues such as low self-esteem, trauma, or anxiety. This program is perfect for instructors looking to bring innovative, evidence-based approaches to support their students' writing skills and mental wellness.
