Data literacy is an essential skill for students in today’s information-rich world.

In this session, educators will explore practical strategies for integrating data literacy into mathematics, science, and social studies instruction. Participants will engage with tools and resources that support students in analyzing data, evaluating evidence, identifying patterns, and communicating informed conclusions across content areas.

Participants will:

  • Connect data literacy practices to learning standards in math, science, and social studies.

  • Examine strategies for using authentic data to support inquiry, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

  • Learn how to guide students in interpreting, evaluating, and communicating data-based evidence.
