This collaborative 1-hour virtual workshop explores how strong partnerships can strengthen support systems for students and families experiencing homelessness. Participants will learn strategies for building meaningful internal collaboration across campuses and departments while also developing effective community partnerships with shelters, nonprofits, food resources, mental health providers, and other local agencies. The session will highlight ways to improve communication, streamline referrals, and create a coordinated network of support that removes barriers and increases student success. Through discussion and practical examples, attendees will leave with actionable ideas for expanding their McKinney-Vento support network and strengthening community impact.
