Free

Discover how Crime Stoppers can serve as a valuable community partner in strengthening a safe, supportive, and proactive school environment. This session will provide participants with an overview of the organization's mission, its role in crime prevention and anonymous reporting, and the ways it collaborates with schools to promote awareness and student safety.

Participants will explore the variety of educational resources and outreach opportunities available for districts and campuses, including presentations tailored for students, staff, and families on topics such as cyber safety, substance use prevention, social media and mental health connection, online solicitation, and more. Through examples of these engaging programs, attendees will gain insight into how Crime Stoppers can enhance existing school safety and prevention efforts.

The session will also offer practical guidance on establishing and maintaining a partnership with Crime Stoppers, including how to access services, request campus presentations, coordinate events, and connect with local liaisons. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with strategies and resources to leverage this community partnership in support of a comprehensive approach to school safety and student well-being.
