This interactive one-hour session builds participants’ understanding of the Student Support Team (SST) process by exploring the roles and responsibilities of team members and providing an overview of the SST process. Participants will examine how collaborative problem-solving and shared expertise contribute to effective student support.

The session will also review Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 supports for addressing students’ non-academic needs, including Behavior Support, Physical Health and Wellness, Mental Health Wellness, Student and Staff Safety.  Through discussion and reflection, attendees will strengthen their understanding of how tiered interventions can be used to proactively support students and ensure that increasingly intensive supports are provided when needed.
