This interactive one-hour session guides participants through the key steps of the Student Support Team (SST) process, from the initial referral to the implementation of a student support plan. Participants will explore best practices for determining when an SST referral is appropriate, collecting meaningful data to inform decision-making, and conducting an effective initial SST meeting.
The session will also examine the development and implementation of intervention plans, emphasizing collaboration, progress monitoring, and continuous support for student success. Throughout the workshop, participants will become familiar with the forms and documentation used at each stage of the SST process and learn how these tools promote consistency, effective communication, and informed problem-solving.
