Join us on Thursday, November 12th for this one-hour informational overview of the Medicaid Waiver Programs in the state of Texas that can provide long-term services and supports for persons with disabilities. This overview will take place via a live, online broadcast through Zoom.
This session will cover the following topics:
- Medicaid Waiver Programs- Federal and state of Texas information;
- Educator responsibilities surrounding the Texas Medicaid Waiver Programs;
- Overview of each of the seven Medicaid Waiver Programs;
- How to sign up a child on the interest list for one of the Medicaid Waiver Programs;
- Collaboration between Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) and Texas Workforce Solutions- Vocational Rehabilitation Services (TWS-VRS) for a person on a waiver that wants to work;
- Additional Medicaid Waiver Program resources
