Class Descriptiion:

This course is designed to assist personnel in the Child and Adult Care Food Program to learn about counting and claiming reimbursable meals ensuring the use of proper documentation and procedures. 

 

Learning Objectives:

• Define CACFP, the scope of its work, and its audience. 
• Recognize key components of counting and claiming including reimbursable and creditable meals, meal patterns, and meal service types. 
• Access and utilize CACFP meal production records, daily meal counts and attendance records, and documentation for meals claimed forms.
