This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of PEIMS leaver reporting requirements and best practices for ensuring accurate and compliant reporting. Participants will learn the definition of a leaver, how to identify and code leavers correctly, required documentation to support leaver records, and the data elements reported to TEA. The session will also review submission timelines, common leaver reporting scenarios, validation and troubleshooting techniques, and TSDS reports available to verify leaver data prior to submission. Region 13 PEIMS staff will share common audit findings, frequently encountered reporting errors, and best practices to help LEAs maintain accurate leaver records and successfully complete the PEIMS leaver reporting process.
