The power of collaboration between classroom teachers and speech pathologist in the field of literacy is unveiled in this two day session. On the first day of this exciting and fun-filled workshop, the stages of language-based literacy development will be explored and intervention will be brought to life through instructional techniques and strategies designed for use in inclusive classroom environments. In addition to a wealth of ideas and techniques for literacy-based inclusion, the second day of this seminar will offer participants the opportunity to explore a variety of hand-picked literacy products and assessment tools from vendors around the country. This will be an exciting opportunity for classroom teachers, resource teachers, speech pathologists and administrators to discover new ways to jointly work to help students succeed in literacy. 10.0 TSHA CEUs pending.
