This workshop addresses the administration and interpretation of the
Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), which assesses autism and PDD across age, developmental level, and language skills. In this two-day workshop, participants will learn how to use the ADOS to assess and diagnose autism. Administration and scoring of each Module will be described. Instructional methods used during this workshop include lecture, live demonstration of administration and scoring, videotaped administration, and discussion. Workshop participants have the opportunity to practice scoring while observing the instructor administer the ADOS to a child. This workshop is supported with federal special education funds.***Please note the early registration deadline: October 1.***
This early deadline is necessary so that Region XIII can ship to each participant materials that need to be reviewed prior to the workshop.
Each workshop participant will receive a copy of the ADOS Manual (a $62 value.)
