Teaching the Fifties workshops are presented in collaboration between Region XIII's Teaching American History grant and the Harry Ransom Center at UT-Austin's exhibits and website on the American Fifties. These workshops include presentations by content area experts, a related TEKS-based lesson, and a docent-led tour of the Ransom Center exhibit.  
Topics for Day 2 are "Fear and Sputnik" and "Seeds of Rebellion."
