This presentation is for SLPs & teachers who support students using AAC systems. In this session, two of the Region 10 school districts (Garland ISD & Red Oak ISD) will present their strategies for incorporating Core Vocabulary & AAC systems with their students. This is a follow-up to the 3-part Speech Therapy & AAC Intervention Bootcamp Webinar series, wherein these school districts will present what works and what does not in a real world and how it can all be done in a cost effective manner! 2.0 TSHA CEUs pending.
If you wish participate in this session from your LEA (rather than travel to the ESC), you need to contact kathy.clapsaddle@esc13.txed.net and the distance learning staff at ESC XIII (distancelearning@esc13.txed.net) so that the sessions will be made available to your LEA.
If participating from your LEA, a "CEU Administrator" will be assigned at your site. The CEU administrator will be responsible for obtaining and returning sign-in signatures and distributing handouts.
TSHACEUs will be provided, and certificates will be obtained through the TSHA website. A workshop # will be shared during the presentation. CEU certificates will then be emailed following the presentation. You do not have to be member of TSHA to get CEUs for this presentation.
