This workshop is intended for teachers and administrators seeking training for a certification exam administer by the state of Texas. The workshop will review key concepts, principles and strategies for teaching the intended content area. This workshop is aligned with the Texas Examination of Educator Standards framework and will serve as preparation for the TExES certification exam. In addition to the content preparation, a TExES practice test will be administered. The graded practice test will be reviewed, debriefed and results analyzed, so that participants will leave the workshop with an action plan for passing the intended certification exam.
