Integration Strategies Using TTM

All Texas public and open enrollment charter schools are eligible to participate in Texas SUCCESS, a state-funded mathematics and reading program for all students in grades 3-8.

Schools are now in year 3 of implementation of Think Through Math and Istation Reading, and we are excited to offer training to help deepen your understanding of best practice for student success with these programs.

For session success:

  • Participants should come knowing their Istation and/or Think Through Math login & password and have existing knowledge of how to log in to the program(s).
  • Participants should bring a laptop with earphones or earbuds.
  • Istation workshop participants should bring a laptop with the Istation student program downloaded and installed.
  • Visit the resources available in the Istation Training Center or TTM Help section located within each user's individual Istation & TTM accounts if these programs are completely new to you.

*This training session is for advanced users. Participants should have attended Part One or have extended experience with TTM. Attendees should have students using the TTM program.

Share experiences implementing TTM so far with group discussion about challenges and success stories. Walk away with 3 concrete action steps that you can implement to supercharge your TTM implementation. Perform an extended data review using the new standards report which automatically groups students by performance on standards. Discuss strategies for using this data to differentiate your classrooms. TTM now allows teachers to assign their students multiple pathways of content at a time. Strategies for using multiple pathways to get even more out of TTM will be addressed. Learn how to use technology and TTM to help make sure classrooms are highly engaging and provide a differentiated learning environment. Define the term Blended Learning and discuss several models that are found to be successful.

This is a BYOD session.  Participants should bring their own laptops to the workshop.  Region 13 will have a limited number of laptops for participants who do not have a device to bring.
