This is module one of project based learning framework with the integration of the ELPS and sheltered strategies. This series of four modules is designed to address the incorporation of ELL strategies within your PBL model using the ELPS and should be taken by those who have completed the PBL foundations training.
In this module we will look specifically at how to decide on your significant content that will be addressed during the project. Then once the content is decided upon, how do you construct the criteria for what makes a good driving question. Finally, how to create an entry event to get your students thinking and excited about their project. Throughout these steps we will also be discussing how to address your English language learners and ensure they can participate while acquiring language and increasing their linguistic abilities.
