Culturally Diverse Families of At-Risk Students

The At-Risk Services Network is designed to keep school personnel up-to-date and informed on best practices related to at-risk students. The network will provide the opportunity for school personnel from all areas to keep informed, share information and resources, and build a network of support with other campuses and districts.

Cultural diversity is a fact of life in our schools. That diversity brings challenges and opportunities in our work with the families of our students. This workshop explores the many forms of cultural diversity, the challenges and opportunities of each, and develops strategies for engaging and building on the strengths of the families.

Districts who are members of the At-Risk Network may attend this workshop at no charge. Employees of non-member districts may also register for this workshop.
