TexQuest is a statewide digital resource program from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission that provides anytime, anywhere access to high quality, authoritative digital resources to subscriber schools in Texas.

These TexQuest sessions are designed for schools who subscribe to the TexQuest digital resources. If you are unsure about whether or not your school or district is a TexQuest subscriber please contact the TexQuest Support Center.

All sessions are for Librarian/Media Specialists, Teachers, Instructional Technologists, and Curriculum Leaders. Participants should bring a laptop or tablet, along with their district access information for each of the individual databases.

Please note: participants will need to bring a laptop or tablet to this session along with their district TexQuest login information.

Teacher usage is key to promoting digital resources with students, but when do they have time to learn about all of these great instructional materials? In this session, we will:
  • Discuss different forms of staff development
  • Explore characteristics of adult learners
  • Find materials that have been created for sharing TexQuest resources with specific teacher groups
  • Share best practices at your campus/district
  • Begin to create a staff development plan for digital resource staff development at your campus/district
