What is Restorative Discipline?

Restorative Discipline is a new and radically different method for behavior management that shifts the focus from "punishment" to community building. It takes incidents that might otherwise result in punishment and creates opportunities for students to become aware of their behavior, understand their obligations, and take steps to make things right. It helps people become better equipped at understanding how their actions impact others, and how to monitor future behavior.
