PBIS Universal Training

About PBIS

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based practice for putting systems in place that support positive academic and behavioral outcomes on your campus.

The PBIS framework allows for campuses to develop infrastructure for school-wide behavior and discipline management.

PBIS is part of a multi-tiered system of support designed to provide school environments, educators and students a menu of school-wide and classroom based support that will improve behavior and increase academic success.

Training Contract Details

Our Behavior Team will provide your campus with the following support and training:

  • Four days of professional development, here at Region 13, for members of your campus PBIS team. During the training we'll address school-wide systems of support.
  • Four onsite coaching visits. Topics will be determined by your administrator and our PBIS coach.

Each participating school district or charter school will:

  • Identify the PBIS initiative as priority either in the campus and/or district improvement plan; and develop a campus PBIS team to support school-wide implementation.
  • Identify a district contact for planning, coordination and communication purposes; and
  • Provide dedicated funding for continued support of the PBIS initiative (multiple year support, reinforcement systems, additional trainings identified by action plan, etc).
Please contact Angela Isenberg to receive a discount code in order to register all members of your PBIS team for the training.  angela.isenberg@esc13.txed.net
