TExES Review: Languages Other Than English (LOTE) (Summer 18)
This course is intended for new and experienced teachers who want to review key concepts, principles and strategies for teaching Languages Other Than English in EC-12 classrooms. This course is aligned with the Languages Other Than English EC-12 Texas educator standards/frameworks and can serve as preparation for taking the TExES certification examination.
This 24 credit hour course focuses on:
- content development of Languages Other Than English concepts, and principles in grades EC-12
- instructional strategies for Languages Other Than English EC-6 teachers
- activities and assessments that cover TEKS-based concepts, principles, and strategies for students.
The online course content is presented through, Internet investigations, Flash-based learning activities, and self-assessments. This course also provides diagnostic TExES sample questions with feedback rationale for correct and incorrect answers.
Once you get registered for the course you have immediate access to the content and will continue to have access 24/7 until the end of September 2018.
