This Evaluator Peer Learning Community (PLC) offers a collaborative space for evaluation staff and multidisciplinary evaluation team members to refine their practice in assessing students for disabilities. This group is designed to foster collective learning through real-world application, inviting members to bring case studies from their districts or charter schools for discussion and analysis.

The format of the meeting is collaborative! Content and discussion is intended to be driven by the participants. Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Share current evaluation cases in a supportive, confidential environment.

  • Explore assessment strategies, interpretation of results, and best practices.

  • Gain diverse perspectives and insights from fellow evaluators.

  • Strengthen their decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Stay informed on the latest research and legislative updates in dyslexia evaluation.

By working through authentic cases together, the group aims to build collective expertise, promote consistent and high-quality evaluations, and ultimately enhance student outcomes. Whether you're navigating a particularly complex assessment or seeking fresh ideas, this community provides a valuable forum for growth and collaboration.

The meetings will be live, online broadcasts (Zoom).  A Zoom link will be sent to participants prior to our meetings.  These meetings will not be recorded.
