This asynchronous learning opportunity is designed for ESC school improvement leads and specialists to deepen their understanding of the updated
Foundational Leadership of Instructional Practices and Systems (FLIPS) milestones and metrics. Participants will explore how these updates align with the 2025–26 school improvement intervention and submission calendar and learn how to tailor coaching practices to better support districts and campuses in school improvement efforts.Asynchronous Course open from July 23-31.
Session Objectives:

By the end of this session, ESC specialists will be able to:

Examine the evolution of FLIPS milestones and identify key changes in expectations and School Improvement (SI) timelines.

Internalize and align on updated FLIPS priorities and timelines with the "Habits of Mind" framework as a "North Star" to intentionally support instructional leadership development.

Evaluate and adapt implementation strategies for core milestones by reflecting on diverse approaches and learning from peer ESC practices.

Design systems for continuous stakeholder communication, recursive support, data monitoring, and timely SI intervention planning.
