Achieving Grant Management Success: Strategies for Updating and Enhancing Your Written Procedures

Join us for an interactive working session to solidify your understanding of the EDGAR and UGG changes that go into effect for most federal grants on Jul 1, 2025. During this session we will do a deep dive into those changes that affect your required, written federal grant management policies and procedures. We will guide you through the process of updating or enhancing your current policies and procedures based on the latest EDGAR changes. The workshop will conclude with a Q&A session attended by Cory Green, TEA Associate Commissioner and Chief Grants Officer and Nick Davis, Chief of Staff for Grant Compliance and Administration Department.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the changes to EDGAR and the UGG that impact your current grant policies and procedures and what updates might be necessary.
  2. Collaborate with your team to create and/or revise your current grant policies and procedures.
  3. Increase efficiency and compliance by developing training plans for your updated procedures.
  4. Receive answers to your pressing or nuanced EDGAR and UGG questions.
